Sick Neon Tetra

I've had this fish for four years so maybe it is dying from old age? Should I put it out of misery or just let it die naturally in the tank? I hate to see the fish suffering .

4 years is pretty impressive for a little Tetra. Personally, I would just let it run it's course.
