Very sorry to hear that Bill. Does it look like something internal?

Perhaps a large dose of med (like Jungle) and salt? I've heard that epsom salt can help with blockage but never had any good result with it.

Ya. No external signs.

Can I add a little bit of Kosher salt? All I have. I have Ick meds and Melafix. If he makes it through the night I can go to LFS tomorrow and get whatever.

Try to use EPSOM salt to induce "crapping." Maybe he has some sort of blockage.

Have there been any new introductions to this tank? If so, I would definitely try that and also some Jungle Parasite Clear in-case of internal parasites.

Start with 1 tbsp per 5 gallons. Give it 72 hours if it doesn't improve then let me know.

Fish is still alive but looks bad. Treated today with epsom salt and Clout.

Edit. I was thinking and I did have some rust in the water. I had put a screwdriver in the HOB to keep the floss down and it did rust a bit. The sponge had rust in it, but I rinsed it well. That was about a week ago.
