Sick Oscar Help newb!

I just got another Oscar a few days ago, about 2" and in its own tank. it hasn't eaten since I got it, it looks fine but it hides all day and swims odd. From what I see its feces is clear. he also seems really weak

Would it be right to assume Hex?

if so, is Hex contagious to other fish and tankmates??

The last thing I would want to do is put him in with the other oscar I have and end up with non.

Clear feces is most often a sign of hex or similar protozoal infections, med of choice is food laced with metronidazole.
