I have two Lutino Ruby Oscars that appear to be sick. THey hardly move, eat very little, and haven't grown since the day I got them. Which was about two months ago. I bought these two along with a Tiger Oscar and the Tiger has grown at least 3".

I have fed them Hikari pellets and Krill from day one, no feeders. No new fish introduced to the tank either.

Their stomachs are pretty much flat and their poop is white and stringy.

Is there any way to tell what their problem may be? With nearly endless possibilities at the pet stores for possible cures I am a very confused.

I change 50% of the water every other day, todays readings are:

Ammonia-0
Nitrate-20 (tommorrows water change day)
Nitrite-0

Attached is a picture, thats one of them lying in the background.

i do know know that white stringy poop is a sign of illness, but i have no clue of what exactly causes it:confused:

I think that the 50% is a bit much, especially if you do it every other day.

How big of a tank do you have now?

None of the local pet stores employees do either. I am in the boat as well.

Did you see any fighting, or aggression between the 3 of them? Maybe during feeding, the pecking order was established, and he's the low man on the totem pole.

No fighting that I have seen, if anything the small lutino's have bullied the bigger tiger. They chase him off the pellets if they think he's eating too many. :)
