Sick painted turtle, floating problems?

I just bought this turtle from a reptile show, he is a baby, he is floating and can't keep his balance. Sometimes he looks like he is turning summersalts. I think it is some type of equilibrium problem. Does anyone have any advice as to the problem and what I can do?

Sounds like your turtle might have a respiratory infection. What is the temperature of the water? For now raise it up to between 82-85 F. and see if this helps.
