Hi, I am suspecting my 1.5year old common pleco to be sick. He is about 6,5inch long. The tank has been running for 1year and a half. It is fully cycled. amonnia and nitrite are 0. temp is 26celcius. I used to have 5 Koï in there , an angel fish and some corydoras. Recently (2 weeks ago) I have switched to a malawi setup. I have 12 juvenile cichlids in there. All the other fishes are ok but the pleco has silk like poop at times, and also sometime solid white poo. The solid white poo was not stringy at all and he only got it after i turned my white holey rocks around. I highly suspect the solid white poo to be due to my holey rocks as he spent alot of time cleaning them. I do not have any live plants, only plastic.

The pleco is eating hikari algae wafers, at least when the auratus doesnt steal it from him. The belly of the pleco seems slightly swollen but im not sure..
I do not own an hospital tank. Should I treat the whole tank even tho there are newly arrived juveniles cichlid in there??? One of my friend offered to adopt my pleco.. but he has a tank with oscars and i fear for the chance of survival of a pleco in there. Either way the well being of my cichlid is a priority right now. They are about 1inch to 2inch in lenght. Any help will be greatly apreciated.
