help, i just bought 4 pleuros, 7-9". i had to give lfs feeders, as much as i hate it. several days later the pleuros are acting skittish and scales appear "cloudy", im suspecting they caught something from the feeders. what can i do, asides from bump temp? add salt? any meds?

TIA

I think a pic would help
For now probably do a w/c bump up temp and add some salt

I'm not sure if it's from the feeders, but I have seen that symptoms in my Pleuros as well. It actually one of the deadly disease that most juvie snakeheads have. Its a bacterial infection that eat away the skin. I prevented mine by separating each of them and add salt about 1 tsp per 5g and bump the temp to 86F+. It will heal up in a few days. Any lower than 86F and the bacterial infection start to spread more. There was an antibiotics that I used that works too, just forgot the name was it was.

sucks. i went to get the salt and heater today and when i got home 2 were dead, the kelberi looks sick as hell and the other 2 pleuros dont look so good. added the salt and bumped temp to 32degC, pleuros are looking much better but not the kelberi!:(
