SICK RAY

Hi there guys I was wondering what to do ? My ray will not eat and is not acting normal just laying around in the same spot . I can home today and on the right side of his disc about the size of a dime looks like a white fungus or nasty burn mark . I just did water change 50 % and turned up heat and added a little salt . My ? is was antibiotics can I had to the water to help him out , I know this is a sensative matter with rays and I dont want to hurt my three other rays with add antibiotics to the water . So what is the best one to add ?

Are your heaters covered?

How long have you had him? Could it be parasites?

Recent Ammonia spike or drop in water quality?

Not much you can do other than Salt, heat, and good water quality.. remove any stresses such as nocturnal tankmates or active/aggro tankmates.

yes the heaters are covered , one section is still a little open though about 90 % is covered . I had him about 3 to 4 months . The thread is no longer needing advise though . it is sad to say but he did not make it though the night .
