Hi to all,

My rhombeus is sick.
He is tilting to a side almost parallel to the floor.
Started 3 days ago but it was not so bad(i mean he is just swimming in stream, done that before).
Tank size 400l, nitrite, ammonia at 0 and nitrate around 20-30ppm for the plants.

Here is short video. Any advice is appreciated.
I think its swimming bladder problem but im not sure.

Thanks.

Thanks for advice but its not really helpful.
I mean sounds like cookin not tretment.
Aquarium is bigg around 800l but its divided and i cant treat whole tank with salt.
Other fishes are fine.

I wanted to take him out into big barrel and treat it in there with something.

You don't have to think it is helpful, but adding 1-2 tsp of salt per gallon of water directly to the tank will likely help if it is a bacterial infection or one of many possible parasites, and it won't hurt your fish. If you would rather spend a bunch of money on medications and stress the fish by transferring him and treating him elsewhere, that's up to you, but I honestly think you should consider getting salt in there NOW rather than waiting and thinking about how to proceed... Believe it or not, salt works in many cases.

I had almost indentical symptoms with my green terror. If it is the Sam condition as him, it gets worse every day so I would act rather quickly and treat with Epsom salt. If you don't want to put the salt in the tank because of the other fish take him out and give him an Epsom salt bath in a large bucket or Rubbermaid tub.

That looks like typical serra sp. behavior to me. A lot of serras tilt forward or to the side like that. It is more common in small individuals but I don't see why larger ones wouldn't do it too.

How long have you had it?
What is on the other side of the divider?
