Sick Siamese Tiger

I bought a Siamese Tiger fish and have had it one week. I noticed a white film on his eye and some on his skin. He is eating but has been flicking himself on the gravel alot. I need some advice on what it is and how to treat him.

Is it one eye or both eyes? How are your water parameters? White film on his scales?

It is a film not dots right? It sounds like a saprolegnia type fungus. I would first try salting the tank, use 2 tsp. per gallon like for ich but you don't need to raise the temperature, if that doesn't work in just a couple days use one of the many antifungal meds like Fungus Cure, Binox, or fungus cure.
