any ideas??? , it appeared very quickly.he had a wee red ring on his nostril a long time ago but it disappeared after a few days with no treatment.

surely someone will recommend a med soon for you, is he in a tank alone?

How is he acting otherwise?

hes not alone,he acts fine, eats well n active like its not bothering him but it looks painful so i really wanna get him sorted asap.

Seems to me that this can be the deadest forum on the site, yet so many pros around. Im sorry bud I would think its not something too rare, maybe some better up close pics of it, and give your water parameters, search hard through the stickies from lupin, but I know how you feel, surely someone can spot what it might be.

thanks dude , it seems to be the same thing as the female Crabro, being out of its nostril aswel unfortunately it didnt end well :( but it give me some info to work with, im gonna try some salt and more frequent water changes.really hope it isnt a tumour!! ill have some more pics up in a few hours

Well Im not a fish doc but just tryin to get you in the right direction before some people with more sick fish experience chime in, seems kind of dead. WIsh you the best though.

RIP Texas Blue :( came home the other day and it had at least tripled in size.felt it was cruel to make him suffer any more.looked proper painful :(

not me personally, couldnt bring myself to do it but yes it seemed like the right thing to do.quick n painless.
