Side of flowerhorn looks damaged

He is about 3.5 inches and on his right side his scales look a bit messed up and there are a few tiny white marks that stick out. He is acting very health. He is active and swims to me when I come by and chases my finger. I tried to take a picture to show but it is kind of hard to tell. Any thoughts?

He's got worms hanging On his open fresh. Get parasite meds.

Get meds and 20-30%. water change everyday

I will be honest I can't tell from the photo but from the description it does sound like a parasitic infection.
The wound and scales missing is not that big of a deal but the white things sticking out sounds like a parasite.
