hey guys... i really want to add a red oscar in my 125G tank.. along with my 7" green aro and blood parrots. it is a 2" red oscar by the way.. will this work?

i have a 7 inch silver arrow with 2 smaller oscars. it's working out fine. oscars are Ok with other fish as long as they are sized properly and you can also not allow them to establish territories within the tank by placing the other fish in first. you have that advantage already, since your oscar is not in the tank yet. place the oscar in last. he will be the most unadjusted fish in the tank and then maybe, be more mellow and easier to get along with. i did this with my oscars. they are 2 cool fish. . . very easy-going but inquisitive. i don't know much about parrots.

really? you are very lucky to have them in the same tank.. do you think it will work with a green aro? they are next to jardini for being agressive tho.. lol..

the problem here is that you are talking about a silver aro which is one aro you can keep with most tank mates. but he wants to know about a green aro and greens are known to be next in line after jardinis as far as aggression goes.
so someone who has a green aro will be able to help better i guess.

true. i herd greens can be pretty aggressive. my O's somewhat get a long with my silver. just a little pushing eachother around, but the aro is new so the Os need to adjust to him. but good luck

i must say no , cuz i have green and oscar before and they've bitten each other and since my oscar quite big , so it haven't been eaten
