I'm due to move home soon and wish to do a new backround for the tank. My mate has used what I felt was a novel background material. He bought some of the acrylic-style tape material that sign manufactureres use for shop front windows. They made it to his dimensions and it came in a roll. He laid it on the glass like wallpaper. He reckons it looks very flush, no air bubbles and the colour holds excellentl (much better than other applied backgrounds). He also said it can be pealed off easily if needed.
Anyone ever used this before?

no, but thats a good idea - was it just a solid color?

you choose the colour you want which is the great part. I guess you could even get a textured look to it as well-the scope is endless.

Yeah its just vinyl... My boyfriend works for a print shop. I making one that is a photo of rocks and such to put on my tank

Perhaps he could do custom backgrounds for members of their supplied pix?

How large a format can he do?

And how much will it cost us for him to do one? :D

...and a 110g

...and a 250
