ok i have some premium waterproof silicone 2clear and was wondering how you can tell if its aquarium safe or not? if it has mold protection does that mean it is not safe

Hello; Yes the common thought is that silicone with mold inhibitor IS NOT SAFE. Several have reported problems when using this. The common suggestion is to use silicone I and/or a type without any additives. Some are labeled as aquarium safe.
+1 you can go to a aquarium store or even petco, walmart & etc and buy aquarium safe silicone.
you can go to home depot and lowes and get aquarium safe silicone you just need to know which one to buy. It won't sayon the label though
