Silica Sands

I am wondering if this sand have any chemical in it and has anyone ever use it in their aquarium? Please let me know

I changed over to silica sand from gravel about 5 years ago in both my tanks. I never had any problem with it. I have 125&150g freshwater tanks

I got a 50lbs bag of Pool filter sand at Menards for 8 bucks gonna try to put sand on my new 75 gallon tank! Anyone know how to get sand clean out>

I just rinse it in a bucket with the garden hose u will lose some but no big deal
