Just picked up my new glass tank, custom drilled bulkheads, star fire glass. When unloading I noticed that all the joints were nice and flush but 1. At a top corner there must be a 1/6th inch gap, there's silicone filling it but no " glass to glass " connection
So I was wondering if this is something I should worry about or return my tank and loose the moment of glee or silicone is so strong I shouldn't worry. And to my 2 brothers that work for acorn floors, thanks for turning me on to this group of passion frenzied fish keepers
My first post this place is great I've already learned how to modify my in line heater

sounds normal. there is always silicone between the glass panels, the glass is not flush up against the other panel. in fact, the best manufacturers like Aqueon and Oceanic put spacers between the panels when building to ensure there is enough of a gap between the panels so the silicone can fill it creating the seal.

pics would help to be sure though. see if you can post some.
