Out Back In The Woods!
Looking to do a couple dividers in my tank and was wonderin what silicone i could use?.. i only have a Home depot in my area bought a peice of .220 Acrylic to use and right above it i seen that they had some 100% silicone right above the acrylic is that safe to use? If not what is the safest can someone point me in the right direction of a safe useable silicone for use in my dividers...

I don't think dividers should be permanent, you may want to use something to hold it steady in place, but also removable .

The reason I asked is Because i want a Permant Divider Between My Powerheads and my Prized Baby Catfish their only 3" So yeah I need a Divider... Hence the reason For askin Bout the Silicone.. Already lost one cause it got stuck to the powehead and dont wanna lose anymore their not cheap man...

100% silicone is safe to use, most people use GE1 silicone window/door. Here is a link for photo i.d. http://www.homedepot.com/buy/paint/...z-clear-silicone-i-window-and-door-63539.html

Need help ASAP guy sent my wife today to home depot to pick up the silicone she said they were out of GE1 Window Silicone so she got GE Silicone 1 Clear Kitchen/Bath it says its 100% Waterproof Silicone but it doesnt say it has any Mold & Mildew Resisants in the Silicone but it says do not use below water line or in aquariums can i use this even though it says not to use it???? i though that if its 100% Silicone it was safe to use as long as it didnt have any mold and mildew resisants in it am i wrong????
