Cloudy eyes may be parasites or eye flukes. Pics please, don’t think it has to do with the silicone as long as you’ve used it before.

This fish lives alone has almost all of his life I've had it since October 31st of last year at 2 in is now 5 inches it's only an LS no plans no snails nothing but new tap water gets in its tank hi baby bass fish I highly doubt diseases an issue

Did you do any water changes after filling the tank but before adding the fish?

I have had much better success (100%) when using GE Silicone 2* if I rinse the tank out a couple times before adding fish/inverts. I think there are still solvents coming out of the Silicone 2* that are harmful to fish & inverts that do not evaporate out like the acetic acid in Silicone 1*.

I cleaned it with 50. 50. Water vinegar solution, filled it for a couple days emptied it then added water and the one fish. Tjanks
