Okay, a lot of things I am hearing. I need to know which silicone would be best for holding a new piece of glass onto a 140 GAL aquarium. And also, re-sealing all the seams on the tank after I clean off EVERY bit of silicone.

GE SCS1200
Marineland 100% Clear Silicone Aquarium Sealant

Any other ones that won't break bank that are good and strong? The silicone at my LFS is like $30 for 10oz. That is outrageous! Especially when I need so much. I need to reattach a 72"x24"x1/2" piece of glass, silicone the seams, and silicone 2 braces in place since the tank does not have any.

Glass aquarium. Also,
what about GE 100% Silicone 1 Windows and Doors?
Is it strong enough to hold the glass in place and resilicone the whole tank without leaks?

go to your local hard ware store and get 100% percent silicone, I use DAP 100% silicone. its all you need.

GE same thing,

a rose by any other name still a rose. long as 100% silicone.

This is all my local hardware store had that said aquarium safe on it. It is only a 2.8oz tube and I need large tubes. I'd like to use a gun since the job is so large. I didn't see any large DAP 100% silicone that was not mildew resistant. :(

So I could buy this silicone and even though it says not for use underwater or in aquariums it will still be okay and hold up?
