Good morning all!

Had a question about silicone...(tired of ordering tubes of the internet). Is there a brand that I can pick up at Lowes or Home Depot? I read GE Silicone II might be tank safe....is it?

they sell the internet in tubes now?

there has been several discussions on this and the general concensus is that the GE I is sutable for tank use, and GE II is too, the differance is that you need to becairfull with the GE II, some contain a "bio-seal" which can leach into your tank and kill everything. but some does not, you need to read the back of the tube and not take the one that das the meldewside in it.

hehe....tube-O-net. Mobile 'net in a tube! Nice.

Thanks for the info.

Like portabuddy said but without the mis-spellings .

It's the GE I or II Door & Window type, the BioSeal is what you don't want.

I am good spell!, lol sorry spelling was never one of my strong traits..., How about a help Send PB to a hocked on phonic course fund?, i even have a spell checker but it takes too long to fix all the mistakes so i figure that you guys can read around it... J/K

I feel bad every time i read that oddball quote about spelling and spending a eternity in a library

I like the GE II Door & Window stuff, seems to work well for me?, No dead fish yet, well from this atleast.
