Hello I just set up a 150 2 weeks ago using water and filtration from my now empty 125. I used new silk plants I got from the bay and they will not stand up straight and float!! I keep hopeing they will stand up after awhile. But it looks like they are not ever going to. I siliconed them to the bottom of the aquarium before setting up as my catfish always knock my plants down. So I hope eventually they will float. Any advice or similar experience? . Thanks

Well, you could use some green vinyl coated wire and bond/wrap it around areas of the plant to keep them from looking limp. You can usually find it at craft stores. I would seal off the exposed wire after you cut it so it wont rust, and maybe even bend it into a loop so that it wont mar your fish if the bump into it.

Anyone else have any input? Will they eventually float with some natural growth? Pics of setup can be found in my album....

Never had this problem but try using some plastic plants from walmart and just use the stems for suport or go with the seald wire plan
