Moreno Valley
I just got some silk worms from Mulberry Farms for my beardies and geckos, I live out in Moreno Valley/Riverside but I travel through Orange County into Bellflower every weekend.

The chow for these guys is fairly pricey and I was wondering if anyone in the area knows of any mulberry tree's around.

I know they exist, we used to raise these things when I was a kid to learn about life cycles - when I lived in Placentia.

Any info would be great, I've already called the Recreation and Park company's and none of them know of any.

Thanks.

How much are you paying for the chow?

They are not very expensive here... and I am a college student.

10 bucks for half a lbs. of the silkworm chow, makes 2 lbs...plus whatever shipping is.

Where do you get yours? Do they sell mulberry leaves somewhere?

silk worms should be eating more then just mulberry leaves. what kind of silkworm are they? try apple trees, lilacs, elm, .........cant think of anymore. i'll let you know if i can think of any.
