anyone has any opinion on silkworm pupae flakes to feed feartherfin catfish and callichtys callichtys, it is offer by american brine shrimp.com is this stuff any good and also considering earthworm flakes. Pellet takes too long to soften and most seem be trap at gravel substrates. Flake seem more ready soft enough for these rather small mouth catfishes:drool::drool::nilly::nilly::nilly:

The flakes must be fairly new...I have a container of whole silkworm pupae. It was marketed as a treat for koi but I thought I'd try it on my tropicals.

According to what I read, it has a lot of fat (comparable to wax worms and meal worms), so probably best as a rare treat. I'll add that to my list though because sometimes the right treat can get a fish to start eating again.
