Just a funny story to share...

The new setup in the family room is about a week old now. The left tank is currently housing black cons. We were all in the kitchen this morning & Ben (one of our cats) is sitting on a table at the end of the couch near the tank watching the fish.. now he has done this many times with the various tanks in the house, but this time ......

Ben must have not seen the reflections on the tank & thought the cons were just swimming in the air... he started doing the attach head bob, and we all just watched.. he must have thought he could just grab one  .. he jumped & thud, he planted his face on the front of the tank... after his face hit his body followed and for a moment (just a moment) it looked as if he was standing in front of the tank... then he slid down the glass, his feet caught the top edge of the stand causing him to tilt, then he spun & hit the floor :WHOA: ... just so everyone knows, cats do not always land on their feet.

You may be able to get disability for this disfunctional cat thru PETA...

Or

Sell the tape to funniest videos!

How I wish you caught that thing on video...LOL

I love it when my friends cat at teased a 13" oscar by putting his paw into the tank. Looking for food. However the oscar jumped at the cat, grabbed its paw and the cat fell in. The oscar took a few bites on the cats back, but tasted fur and went on with his day. Probably the most funniest thing ever.

Perhaps not as funny, but my neighbor in Brasil used to have a large piranha tank. I mean that both the tank and the piranha were large. He would keep piranha he fished, so they were all around 1'. The tank was at least 220g. One day, his parrot, which he let fly around the house, landed on the edge of the tank, with the tail in the water. Just as he went to pick the parrot up, one of the piranhas pulled on the tail, dragging him into the tank like samuel jackson in deep blue sea. As you can imagine, a feeding frenzy followed, with my neighbor looking, totally shocked, into the tank. In the end, all that was left were feathers. I wish I had been there to see that.
