So yesterday I feed my friends shrimp, I saw my oscar like gulp down like 3 or 4 of them. That was 10am. I get home and at about 10pm decide to feed normal food. I put one spoon full of large pellets and one spoon full of medium.
The oscar opened his mouth and a shimp fell out, and was quickly eaten by another fish. I then see my Oscar dart to the top of the tank and gulp some food. He swam back down and started flaring his gills, as he does this food is floating out of his mouth. He must have some how got the whole spoonful in his mount. Over the next 30 seconds at least 30 pellets cam floating out of his mouth.
It was like the episode of family guy where everyone drank ipecac.
Just FYI the spoon is a very small measuring spoon, the only about 10 large pellets fit it, and about 25 - 35 medium pellets. its always eaten in about 10 minutes.
