Silly question; how do you exactly pronounce kamfa/kamfamalau?

I figured it was just as it is spelled "kahmfuh" but as I learned with the word "cichlids", it's not always like that. Anyone know the proper pronunciation?

Yeah thats how you say it at least thats how I say never heard anything other wise but while looking for a Cantonese translation where I found the english pronunciation which was similar too yours if I remember right was kahm•fa I found this old interesting thread on king kamfa that has the exact flowerhorn that was used and edited to make the famous picture of the cuban with a flowerhorn shape
