I bought a Feather duster for my wife's Fowlr, been eyeing it for a while so I thought I could sneak it in there. well I took it out the bag no big deal went to place it in the tank where I wanted and it jetted back into its tube and it freaked me out a bit and I dropped him. Feel head first into the power head, luckly it didn't damage him to bad but did chop a little bit of his feathers off.
After years of fish keeping you wouldl think a fish moving or touching me wouldn't startle me; guess now the challenge is how long will it take my wife to notice I invaded her tank and snuck an invert in.
Edit: I think the funniest fish touched me story was when I was working on my OHF I had my hand resting on the top of the tank, well I guess my finger tip was just touching the water but I didn't know. Well I am cleaning along minding my own and all sudden I feel a bit. yep my freaking oscar thought I was food and swam up and bit me.
