Silver and Asian Growth rate?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think in terms of length a silver arowana will grow at a faster rate since there average size is larger than Asians.
However, speaking in terms of bulk it will be the asian since they possess much more muscle and are much broader than silvers.

I dont agree with either of the other guys- in my experience the silver puts the most length, depth and width over any arowana, in the shortest amount of time- the asian aros catch up and pass the silvers in depth after at least a year

And how would you know that by not owning an Asian Arowana since you live in America...

Silver and Asian aros i say have the same growth but the amount of food and tank size, water quality have alot to do with it but silvers grow longer faster than the asians but asians get more bulk and massive

both fishes grow very fast if it happens not to be picky about its food. obviously silver will be longer in the longer ^^

i find asian aros to be more picky about their food (very annoying)
