Silver and Black Arowana together?

Hi i have a 6" Silver and i was thinking about getting a Black the same size to go in the same tank, has any body ever tried this? dont want to get one till i know that it will be safe for both of them.

there have been people people who have done that i know ive seen a couple pics on this site with silver and black arows together but it all depends on the fish some will be able to live together and some wont u dont know for sure until you try

Youll have a better chance if the aros are grown out together, wide tank, at least 2 ft wide and some have success with 3 more aros grouped together, to spread out the aggression.

Agreed, you will need to spread out the aggression.

Yeah well ill give it a go then if i can find a cheap Black Arowana.
