Just set up a 210 gallon arawana/peacock bass tank. My current arawana has outgrown the 65 gallon set up. How long should I wait to put just the arawana in the 210? It is set-up with a 300 gallon wet-dry. The tank has been up and running for 1 week now. Thanks for any advise.

Is the filter new and completely uncycled if it is its going to need about 6 weeks so another five but if it is partialy cycled on another tank first then you will be ok to add the arowana in about another week.

i've used bacterlife a few times on new tanks and put fish in straight away and had no problems, just keep an eye on things and do a few more water changes than usual.

get a good water test kit, use the bacteria starter stuff, put the fish right in, test the water daily, if you start to have high amonia levels, do a large water change, you have to have some ammonia to give the bacteria something to eat, but if it shoots up do a water change to bring it back to an acceptable level.
