Must be the October Frightfest for my Silver Aro. Its approx. 11.5 inches. Healthy. Feed is Hikari Food Sticks and Hikari BioPure Krill + every other Friday 10 Live crickets.
Last Wednesday, it went berzerk and had 19 Food sticks + 6 Krills; the max I have seen it eat. Since then, he has been crouching in the bottom corner; hardly swimming and not eating at all. Now, I get that over earting and hence no feed for a a couple of days; however no movement at all is what I am concerned about. No bodily damages; till last night, when it freaked out all of sudden; jumped approx. 6 inches and hurt himself at four places with the lids. He is recovering from those wounds now.
A recent water change and the water parameters are good.
Any thoughts why he would behave like this? with no swimming and hanging out at the bottom of the tank. My plan is to keep it off-food for another day before I drop a few sticks again.
