silver aro and pacus?

how would a silver aro do with some pacus?

my silvers probly still to small for my pacu at the moment anyway ,only 6inchs
and my pacu is 13inchs

but just wondering if i could put them in the same tank
the pacu seems placid..... lol

I have mine in a 150 and that's not enough room for either of them, even singled out.
They compete rather rough, but my little Aro is hanging in there...
20 inches of PaCu is a tank buster, so unless you are setting on a 1000 gallons of tank I would try to do something else...

my six inch pacus killed and ate my seven inch silver aro.........i don't recommend it..........

Not recommended unless the aro is much bigger than the pacu.

Don't forget they get really big!! that goes for both species!

i keep my jardini with my pacu (2ft+) never had any problems

I keep a 18 inch pacu and a 24 inch silver together-Never had a problem with the two together!!!Both have been raised togehter since they were small though!!!

But jardinis are like the Ali of aro's so he might end up having the pacu.

i had a silver with a pacu, the pacu had to be moved out as the silver wanted him out
