Silver Aro freaking out

so I got a silver aro and put him in my 125, hes about 8-10''s, well he started freaking out swimming as fast as he could from one side to the other and jumping into the glass. A few minutes later my other fish started chasing him so I pulled him and put him in my 29g hospital tank. Now he just continues to swim into the glass and freaks out when i walk into the room. I have tried to feed him pellets, crickets, and feeder guppies. The little tentacle looking things on his mouth are now all chewed up from running into the glass. He's been doing this for 3days now and will not calm down or eat. What should I do? He's in a tank alone, in an empty room with no lights tank parameters are all good and temp is 82

29g tank is really small, even as hospital tank. how high is your tank off the floor? for me, I like to keep my arowana as high as possible off the floor and cover all three sides and only leave the front so I can view him.

I would try keeping the lights off till he's more comfortable.. Are you sure your water parameters are good? Temp ect.

Ya water/temp is good. He ate a handful of crickets and a few guppies. I am going to cover the sides of the tank and just leave the lights off.

Ok he has gotten worse. What should my next step be? He is the same size as the biggest fish in my 125 but the Pbass looked like he wanted to snack on him.

new environment maybe? some may need more time to adjust to its surroundings

How long should I wait? I'm about to remove my jag and Pbass and move them to the 29 and put the aro in the 125 and find a home for the jag

if all water/temp parameters are fine its just a matter of time. eventually it has adjust to its new home. then it'll get comfortable enough to eat

He's eating fine, it's just when i go to feed him or walk into the room or go around the tank hes goes nuts and starts having like seizures and ramming himself into the tank walls.
