Silver Aro Growth Over 24 inches

So seems that most would agree that silver aros will reach 24" rather quickly, within first 2 years. what i would like to establish is the growth rate from 24" on. There are a few here on MFK with silvers nearing 30"

Anythingfish....36" @ 11 years old
delgado...........29" @ over 5 years old
Ontarget..........28" @ 12 years old

So who else can contribute with 24" plus aros. At what size and age did your aro's growth slow considerably? Then at what rate did it grow from there. This is open to all members to post, but if your gonna tell about your friend's or the LFS's silvers please post some supporting info.

really depends on the space that it has to swim. also the strength of the filter. anythingfish has a pretty huge setup: 16 feet by 12 feet if im not mistaken so his silver may thrive up to its full length of 48'' a strong filter pump will create stronger current which arowanas thrive in because it stimulates them to be more active hence more hungry and energized. this helps growth tremendously.

Hey del, how fast did your's get to 24" then how much each year there after?

My dad's boss has 3 restaurants and one of them has a 32 inch sliver and they had it for about 9 years now and the other restaurant which my dad works at they have a green silver aro and its about 28 inches and they had it for about 6 years i'll try to go and take some pictures
 
Mine has gone from 6.5" to 25" in 1 year. It has slown down considerably the last 3 months or so to around 1/2" per month.
