Oahu Grown!
Im looking to get a 6-7" Silver Aro but hes gonna have to go into my 55gal grow-out until I get my 210 gal replaced (f**kin movers) but i also have three 4" pbass in there for now...will he be okay in there with them? and about how long before he would out grow a 55gal being 6-7" now (i say about cause i know it depends on feeding and water quality) so just looking for a good "guesstimation".

well, ive heard that it is possible to grow 3" a month lol, but im pretty sure 1-2 is more common, but at least 1 a month.

if you put the aro in with the pbass in a 210 there might be a conflict theyre probably going to need more room. the aro 6-7 in a 55gal will be good at most 5months just my opinion and experience though

don't keep it in there for too long...

Im not going to...i recently moved ant he mover cracked my 210gal and im in the process of filing the report so they can reimburse me the money and maybe i'll buy a bigger tank:D but anyways, I just wanna know how long he'll be okay in my 55gal if he is 6-7" now, because i really don't know how long before i see the money from the f--king moving company..

Too many "I don't knows", why not just wait a while before getting a silver aro?

A silver arowana average growth is 1 to 1.5" per month, but they can grow up to 2" per month. A 6" silver is only gonna last 6 months at the most, but could be in trouble in as little as 3 months.

OK so now u got me scared i just got a silver a month ago and he around 10in and currently in a 55g
i am planing the build of a larger tank between 200g and 300g
but it wont b complete for i would say a max of 6 months unless i find a cheaper used tank
is this way to long to keep him in such a small tank
