Hello...I've got a silver aro that is about 7" long. He's in a 120 with a 10" gar and a few cats. About two weeks ago he lost an eye.:irked: Not sure how. He's swimming with the remaining eye down but otherwise seems normal. He eats normally. Has anyone ever had a similar situation? Did your aro survive?

im not going to lie, but i thought it was hilarious that your aro lost and eye when i read the topic.

as for your question.... your aro should be fine. ive seen a jar with a missing eye doing great, just had a lil more difficult time eating since he is handicap. lots of fish do fine with just one eye, i dont see why your silver should have a problem. my guess would be the gar is the suspect in eating your aros eye too. make sure the gar or whoever doesnt take his other eye out.

there is nothing funny about it.

Add lots of melafix and keep the water clean. Maybe a little salt and bump up the temperature and your arowana will be fine :)

yeah, i didn't that was at all funny either :screwy:
