Hello, i have a 5-6 inch silver arowana, and i want to get a flowerhorn. It's about 1-2 inch. Is it possible to put them both in a tank. My tank is 55gallon. Will the flowerhorn eat hikari foodsticks? And will they fight?

Yes. I am currently keeping a 3" bonsai flowerhorn with my 5-6" silver aro in a 55 g as well. I have also had success keeping a 4" female flowerhorn in with a 15" silver aro. Moreover, I've kept a 6" jing kang flowerhorn in with a 15" flowerhorn. So, it can work. You do need to monitor all fish to be sure. However, your fish should be just fine.

yes it will eat the pellets and yes they probably will try and kill each other. i tried that wit ha jardini and had to seperate them

He was asking about the silver, not the jar.

Uhm it's a 50/50% chance that they will get together, because arowanas tend to swallow any fish that can fit into their mouths, and it doesn't matter if they can't swallow it as long as it fits in their mouths, so maybe adding a divider is a must for a while cause no one knows what could happen. The arowana might kill the flowerhorn, because arowanas do grow fast and flowerhorns don't grow that fast.
