silver aro tank

what size tank would be suitable for a silver aro please any suggestions? cheers:)
 
At least 180 gallons, or 72''x24''x24'' I would think.
 
A 180 would be ok for a while, but if you want to house an adult it would have to be larger than that. I would say a MINIMUM tank size of 270 gallons (8'x3'x2') but plan on bigger tank...in the area of 8'x4'.

delgado has a ton of great info about them, but he himself is housing one in a 180 with no signs of upgrading.

tanksize for an adult is so debatable. jus do the best you can, nothing below a 180, and bigger is always better.

These demensions are actually a 370 gallon, this is my planned tank. But at 1400 bucks for just the tank I am considering building a tank from plywood. Ofcourse this scares the "$%!+" out of my wife.

The sticky in the above link is definetly a good read.
