i got mine at 10 inches and had him for almost a 3 weeks, with a one feeding a week, and he hasnt grown much. but with the pond, 4ft isnt enough... imo eff the building pond part, with the money from the pond build, you can probably by a decent sized tank to hold the aro.

? lol i could pick up one any time if i wanted to, and i never said i'm trying to slow down the growth of my fish, thats just the eating routine they are used to.
