So as the arows are still on order.
When they arrive they will be in a Quarantine tank, which is going to hold cons.
(feeders, after reading this site)Will they be ok with cons, or will these mighty midgets be toooo tough for the arows (juvies Under 10 Inches)

sounds crazy

How many cons are we talking about here? Or more importantly, how many breeding pairs and in what size tank?

The Quarantine tank will be 10 gallons, as the arrows will be under 10 inches, its just to make sure they are ok before introduction to there main home.

I was thinking of 1 pair of cons.

Or
Would Mollies make better feeders than Cons. I have a huge pair of Sailfins and they are dropping Fry after less than a week in the 90 Gallon Trop tank

In your case the mollies would be better feeders. I see you show in your sig a "120g planted tank". The cons are smart and if the aros don't get when they are first dropped into the tank, the cons will be able to keep away by hiding and avoiding the aros. I had to resort to holding the con by the tail and letting my aro take it that way. Now though I have quit feeding cons to my aro.

Thanks for the Info Guys. I must congratulate everyone for the positive help i have received so far.

Im the Arow Tank I am gonna use HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGE
3 foot by 1.5 foot silk ivy plants. I Found a DIY store selling these for only 3quid(6Dollars).
These should provide suffecient Cover for Feeders that are dropped into the tank. I hope to be able to keep some Sailfins in the Arow tank. They can live in the Ivy.

I'll get some pix of them when i get the chance. Spent this afternoon making the Larger Canister Filter.

mollies will be a lot better, but even better whould be market prawns, mussels, super worms, meal worms, and black, white or blood worms...

try to keep them of the feeders, unless you intend to feed it feeders on a regular basis ;)
