I was gonna ask too although it looks like frog bit which I can't find around here.

Oh they nibble the plants all day haha. I have a few small planted tanks growing out the water lettuce and salvinia so I resupply the canopy when the small tanks start to overgrow. They dont seem to eat the anacharias as much. I guess the solution is quantity, fast growing plants.
