I've come to realize recently that, much to my dismay, I can't afford to upkeep the large aquarium I've been setting up. This means that I'm forced to give up my arowana so that it can have a proper sized home. As far as I can tell, he (I think it's a male, but what do I know?) is in good health. One eye has drop eye worse than the other, but I don't think that's a dietary issue as it is Hikari pellet-fed. He is about 12" long right now and fairly active; although still kind of skittish around humans.
The pleco is a common (or so I was told by the kind gent I received it from) and is around 9" long. This guy is great; really active, has lots of character, and will eat just about everything (even comes up to the top to grab a Hikari carnivore pellet during the arowana's feeding time)! Sorry about the poor picture here, I had just turned on the light so it went and hid behind a rock.
If you are interested in the arowana, I'd like to know the size of tank you're going to be putting it in (just don't want it going to a home where it will live it's life in a 50 gal or something,
). You can contact me through PM here or give me a call at (909) 292 7nine95. I'm located in the Rancho Cucamonga/Upland area (91701) and won't deliver. Thanks!
