I had a silver arowana about 2.5 feet long and have had him over a year. It started attacking my two Rays last week !! It was spearing them and trying to knock them around. I had to sell him to a fish store. Anyone else have this happen? They have been in the same tank since I got them. 200 gallon

I would say a 200 gal is to small for a 2.5 ft aro

I sold him..but the tank was over 6 foot long plenty of room!! He was only a year old.

And the 2' width was plenty for a fish 2.5' long cause he was into yoga right?

It was a temporary tank not a long term! That's all everyone says on this forum!! That was nothing to do with post..

You've got a small tank with fish that get big. What are people supposed to say? Remember where you're at?

All tanks are temporary. Your Aro would have appreciated a larger tank 12 inches ago.

What DOES have to do with post is keep your fish happy and they probably won't "knock each other around"

It absolutely has something to do with it. The less space an aro has to move the more stressed it will be. A stressed aro isn't necessarily a friendly one.
