silver arowana compatiblity

finally i am going to buy a silver arowana around 8"-10" but worried that but will it be okay if i put it with my single red devil of 3"-4"
size od tank 5'1'1.6'

I think he's going to get beat...and bad.

When I first started out in this hobby I had a red devil...NEVER AGAIN. That thing definitely earned its common name. Personally, I think devils are a species tank kind of fish.

I would have to agree. A devil will own a silver.

yeah red devils are pretty evil fish. my experience was a little different though. my 10" silver aro was getting terrorized and beat up by a little 3~4" carpintis. it got so bad that i had to remove the carpintis...

Well if you gonna ignore the advice given about keeping a silver in that size tank. Then you might as well go ahead and keep him with the red devil should be no problems.

Didn't you already ask this question only it was a flowerhorn instead of a RD?

not good... the first fish in the tank usually exhibits dominance when new fish are introduced....and a red devil....i would say a definite no
