Hey everyone, so my Silver Aro has been doing really well so far, he's gotten quite big and fat. About 2 weeks ago he developed DE. I was cleaning the tank and he jumped out (like a jerk) onto my face and landed on my bed. I didn't think he'd be injured but ever since then I've noticed he's developed DE on his left side. He swims occasionally now tilted to the right side. Otherwise, he's eating perfectly fine (recently started eating from my hand!). Is this leaning anything I should be concerned about. I'd assume he's maybe dizzy or just adjusting for the DE.

Welcome to MFK. You are not alone in seeing this happen with your arowana. There are many here that have also seen DE develop in much the same fashion. As far as the tilted swimming goes, it could be that your aro injured something else and not that it is getting used to DE. Either way there is little you can do.

Bah, stupid jerk. Now he decided to be much more calm and never freaks out when I come near the tank.
