silver arowana feeding

i have a 8-9 inch silver arowana and currently started feeding him full shrimps. i also feed smelt every other day but i cut it up into 4-5 pieces. can i feed him the full smelt, will the bones cut his stomach? want some opinions thanks

I would keep on doing what your doing in till it got a little bigger. I don't think the bone will cut it's stomach.

ok well ive been thinking about trying to feed him one full smelt and see how it goes. someone on here said they feed their 8" silver full silversides, so thought i would try
