Hi there,

I have a 5 inch long silver arowana. Currently feeding on a resident population of mozzi larvae and feeder shrimp in a small tank.

How long roughly do you reckon it will take him to get to 8-10"?

Thanks

Kyle

Growth rate for a Aro (or any fish) depends on a on a lot of factors including:

1. Water quality/parameters
2. Water change schedule
3. Feeding regime
4. Food (variety)
5. Tank-size
6. Other factors (like stress which may be induced by aggressive tank-mates etc.)

Given average condition, I would say about 3 months (which is how long it took my Silver Aro to go from 5" to 10").

Let's see what the experts have to say..

Cheers,
Sid
