Silver's are much more timid, even as adults its rare for them to be severely cruel. Most of the time silvers intimidate with size and glare and only strike out when they really dislike their tankmate (from either pestering, space, or stealing food). Jardini's on the other hand even at a small age are quite agressive so it is very difficult to get them in a tank with other fish at a small age they always lash out only a few cases of kinder fish from this species. Don't get me wrong I've housed both together before but its always with lots of space and with hand picked mild fish with constant surveillance of attitude. If you really want it to work out get a large tank and timid fish or a tougher silver whose slightly bigger.
