Ding, ding, ding........

Yes, it will all depend on the jar. Lucky for me, it worked. You might have a different out come. If you are going to try it, make sure you have a spare tank if done so.

Space actually can be just as important if we take into consideration the differences between the holding capacity/area/volume of a 6'x3'2' aquarium and the holding capacity/area/volume of 15'x9'x6' pond.

I've seen some things work when that extra factor of space is and habitat condition is added into the mix.

Am not saying that temperament will not be a factor. It honestly will be very important regardless of setup. But space can not be considered a non-factor, especially in a case like this.

your average mfker is not going to own a 6'x3'x2' aquarium let alone a 15'x9'x6' pond. i barely just got my 8'x3'x2' and have been keeping fish my whole life. space is important, but for your average mfker with a 180 gallon or smaller i would say temperament is a greater factor.

If you put it that way.

But I wouldn't begin ruling out possibilities especially when we, personally, don't know what he's going to use to place his fish in.

Again, temperament is important. But space is equally important with regards to this combination of fish.

If you really want a Silver, get a bigger silver. Way bigger than the Jardini. Maybe like twice the size of jardini. I don't have a Jardini and silver in the same tank but that's what I've noticed everytime I see silver and jar in the same tank.
